Mission Leaders Consultation

Going North!

Zechariah 6:8 ..."Look, those going towards the North country have given my Spirit rest in the land of the North."

On Thursday 31st May 2012, mission leaders from partnerships, churches and organisations gathered for a one-day consultation in Kempton Park. The event, co-hosted by SAAWE and WENSA, aimed at creating a platform whereby those involved in reaching the least evangelized people groups around the world were afforded the opportunity to create awareness about their work and possibly connect with those who were interested in seeking partnerships.

Some 64 leaders gathered for the day, listened to presentations from a variety of partnerships focussing on unreached groups from the Asian, European, Middle East and African regions and thereafter small group discussions around partnering principles and specific partnerships were enjoyed by all. SAAWE & WENSA see this event as the beginning of similar regular consultations to enable the strengthening of existing networks and partnerships, facilitating the creation of new partnerships as well as stimulating greater awareness of the least evangelized people groups within the South African church.
