The 2015 MANI (Movement For African National Initiatives) Southern Africa regional leaders consultation is aimed at ensuring that every effort in carrying out what we understand as the mission mandate of the African Church in the present context and realities of events in our region and the continent and in the world is being done according to the dictate and leading of the Holy Spirit, God’s Director of Missions. It is a meeting meant to pause and review what has been done within our region, what is being done and what is yet to be done. We also give ourselves an opportunity to examine the challenges that has befallen us during this process and seek by God’s grace ways to face these challenges. National coordinators, researchers (CAP), Network facilitators and some observers met in Pretoria for three days (26-28 August) and by God’s grace and by the leading of the Holy Spirit, the leaders unanimously agreed to take the national initiative process forward in region. It was also a time of connecting and fellowshipping with national leaders from South Africa, Swaziland, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Angola.
